Cows
We strip graze our cows on fresh pasture and supplement with hay, silage and trace element mineral licks. All of our animals are kept on our home farm, meaning we see them and walk amongst them daily. We are strict with the genetics we use in our stud stock breeding program, focusing on our long-term reputation as a boutique Speckle Park breeder.
Speckle Park cows have a street-appeal, we think of them as our exotic Zebra cows! Others comment that we farm "pretty, happy cows"
Bulls
We spend a lot of time socialising our bulls by walking amongst them and regularly feeding out supplements. This gives us happy, healthy bulls that are as safe as possible to be around and stands us in good stead when we on-sell our bulls.
Although we are small we punch above our weight by making brave decisions with regular importing of new genetics, nationally and internationally, always working to improve the overall health, performance and appeal of our Speckle Park herd.
